SUD and assurance scheme requirements

  1. First test due before the machine is 5 years old
  2. Re-test every 6 years

The NSTS test includes

  1. Inspection of the applicator prior to a tray test
  2. Tray test to confirm working width and evenness of spread
  3. Electronic certificate of all test results

 Sprayer

Boom sprayers over 3 metres, air blast sprayers, train and aircraft sprayers

  1. First test due before the sprayer is 5 years old
  2. Re-test every 3 years
  3. Booms 3 metres and under, slug pellet and

Micro-granular applicators, weed wipers, seed treatment and other specialist equipment

  1. First test due before the machine is 5 years old
  2. Re-test every 6 years
  3. Knapsack, handheld and pedestrian equipment
  4. Must be checked on a regular basis by a competent person
  5. Make any repairs necessary
  6. Keep a record of the inspection – a knapsack

Crops, Fresh Produce and SQC Assurance Scheme requirements

  1. Annual testing for sprayers over 3 metres and air blast sprayers
  2. Annual testing of granular nematicide applicators
  3. All other equipment to SUD timescales

£150.00 plus 0.60p/mile
